MOC Review: Sarrtax of Storms!

What's going on everyone? I hope you all are doing well!

Today, I present to you my latest Bionicle MOC, the Sarrtax of Storms!

It is the second of the "Sarrtax" creatures I've created. The first being the Sarrtax of Ice, made roughly 10 years ago! So, needless to say, this was a long time coming!

This being is a "force of nature," as it were, and immensely powerful. It doesn't tend to be antagonistic, but will respond to disturbance if the situation calls for it.

Well, I hope you all like the MOC, and enjoy the review! Link below. Take care!

The Alliance, Part 8

Regahr walked back into Ahaz’s building. “I have the verdict.”
“Do tell.” Ahaz responded.
“We will join you.”
“Very good.” Ahaz smiled. He walked over to the Hunter, and extended his hand.
Regahr shook hands with him.
Ahaz said, “You’ve made a wise choice.” He smiled. Though he wouldn’t admit it right now, he was actually grateful to have some allies.
“Go ahead and let your bots in. I’ll fill you in on how things go around here when we get back inside, and all of you are situated.”
Ahaz walked out the door with Regahr and gave them permission to enter.
--
Days later, At the Villain Research Lab…
Decim8r was nearly complete. It was now blast resistant, bullet proof, and highly dangerous. The worst thing that could happen to it would be paint chipping and dents. Its current weapon arsenal consisted of a weaponized tail, four arms, each equipped with a blade, a saw and an another razor sharp blade. Its color scheme: yellow, black and gunmetal.
The Leaders were ready to see what Decim8er could do for them when inspecting the area where the Searchers were recently attacked. Once Darkon was permitted to leave the throne room, He left with a grin.
He was happy about the turn of events. At first, the Leaders were outraged about the Experiment escaping, but are now setting his work at top-priority. Plus, he and the Leaders would benefit from this, since he planned to use Decim8r to track down the Experiment and the Leaders would have a way of taking out the Hunters who have given them so much trouble. It was all coming together very smoothly.  He continued to smile all the way back to the Laboratory.
--
“You're clear"
The Hero and Strays, led by Joshua moved forward at the assurance of their scout, armed with a gun and a silenced bomb. It was a bomb designed by prof. Zib, just prior to the Breakout’s occurrence. It was created to blast through blockades as quietly as possible. Fortunately, the Heroes had a secret stash in an underground weapons cache, hidden if something was to go wrong. Unfortunately, it would not be nearly enough to fend off the enormous attack that had come to pass during the Breakout. Thankfully, there were no "official" records of this cache, so the Villains didn't get their rusty hands on them.
The scout had already scoped the City’s walls out, and now stood from afar, Square unit ready to alert his allies of the sign of danger.
The sun had already crept past the horizon, and the lights on the City walls were blazing. But, this did not deter the Alliance from making their first step towards freedom from VIllain domination.
A stray walked right up to the wall. Their goal: find that weak spot the scout had found earlier.
"Bingo!"
Joshua signaled for the Hero to place a small detonator on the crack. They used a piece of scrap metal to cover up the detonation, and keep debris from hitting them. The two ran back several yards.
There was a quiet boom.
The dust settled, and the gap was just large enough for the crew to get through one at a time. The only one who couldn't fit was the Hero, Callibur, so they would have to stand guard while the Strays went in.
This City was a smaller one, so there were not very many Villains on patrol, but that was no reason for the Alliance members to let their guard down. They were always on high alert, ready for a surprise attack at any point. So far, this was the most dangerous mission they had performed yet.
After some time of shuffling through the darkness, the Strays came across a small home. This would be their first attempt at saving a family from the Villains' grasp.
While Joshua and another Stray were trying to find a way to talk to the "citizens" in the house, one Stray stayed behind to find a way to block off the hole in the city wall, and keep the Villains from spotting it.
The strays crept around the house, hoping to not get any unwanted attention. There was one citizen sitting in the living room. A Stray caught their attention and signaled for them to come to the window he was peering though. The citizen looked puzzled, but cracked open the window.
"What are you doing out at this time of night?" The citizen exclaimed quietly.
"I'm here with some friends and a Hero to rescue you and your family."
"How do you propose to do that? We're all locked up in this city… And wait, did you say a Hero?!"
The citizen opened the window a little more, out of curiosity.
Joshua looked around, then back at the citizen.
"That's precisely what I said. I have a lot to explain, but we must go before Villains spot us. We haven't much time."
"How are we gonna get out of here?"
"The same way we got in. I hope. My friends and I have supplies and a large place to live. Trust me, it will be far better than this place."
"Well, okay. I'll get my wife and kids. I'll have to lock up and what not. Thank you."
The citizen started to walk away, but turned back around and walked back to the window.
"How will I convince my wife that this is legitimate? How do I know you aren’t up to something, for that matter?"
"Our Hero, Callibur is waiting just outside the city; he couldn't fit through the hole we made in the wall. Come to mention, we need something to block off the hole. But, I’ll call him right now so you can hear his voice. Plus, here’s another of my friends,” he said, motioning for the other Stray to come to the window.”
He came over and waved.
Joshua called on his communicator, “Callibur, come in.”
“Copy squad leader. I haven’t heard anything from our scout. Is everything okay?”
The citizen recognized the voice of Callibur, there was an encounter he had with him as the Breakout had just begun.
The scout came over the com, and said, “No Villains are there yet, but you all need to get going. Very quickly.”
“Copy that,” Joshua said. “Everything’s going well. The citizen just wanted some convincing that you all were here.”
Callibur said, “I’m outside the city wall now, here to make sure you and your family are safely extracted.”
"Okay. I’m convinced. I'll try to work something out." The Citizen said.
"Good. But, we must go…” Joshua looked around, “Now."
"I'll be right back," the citizen replied.
--
Decim8r walked around and studied the scene of the attack. It could collect data and analyze details that some may not be able to see, because of its advanced sensory systems. A very large squadron of Elite City Guards come to the scene as well, providing protection and looking out for any sign of the Hunters who perpetrated this attack.
As the machine took its laps around, it noticed a smoke grenade amid the deceased Villains on the ground. Those who survived the attack were given immediate attention and sent to the Castle for personal treatment.
It continued to walk around, and collected many details. These details and images would then be reported to the Castle for further analysis. The City Guard Investigators, a group just formed as a direct result of these crazed Hunters, used the information and compared it to info from the first major attack, hoping to find details that were consistent, and hopefully learn these Hunter’s patterns.
--
Outside the Capitol City...
Barah and her squad were patrolling the outskirts for the notorious Hunter gang.
"I shall be the one who brings those disgusting Hunters to justice. Just you wait." She thought to herself.
"Report!" she called over her com link.
"Nothing right now, ma'am." A Villain replied.
"Keep up the search. Those scoundrels are around here somewhere. I have a feeling."
Weather it was actually the presence of the dirty band of Hunters she sensed, or something else, she couldn't break the feeling that something was out here.
--
Red dots showed up on the radar.
The security Stray walked towards the door. Jerin happened to be walking in at the same time.
“What's the problem, friend?" He asked while stepping into the room.
He then noticed the red dots as the Stray pointed at the monitor.
"Oh no." He said.
The stray replied, "That's the direction the crew went to free a family. They should be on the way back at this point, but may run into trouble."
Oran entered to room as well, looking down at his Square device. "I just noticed something--" he looked up. "Oh, Jerin, just the bot I was looking for. It seems you've already found out what I was about to report."
"I have. Thank you Oran."
"I'll contact our squad right now."
"Very good. That's just what I was about to say."
Oran pressed the talk button on his device. "Squad leader, come in."
"I copy." The Stray replied.
"Check your Square. We have some Villains who are right in your path."
"I just saw them too." Replied the scout who was with the crew.
"Okay good. We see you on our radar now. Follow our directions closely, and we will give you the best route to get back to the House."
"Thank you. We have a family with us now." Joshua replied.
Oran then said, “Go northwest for right now. It’ll be a longer way back to the House, but it should be safer. Over.”
“Roger that. Over and out.” Said Joshua.
--
Barah could not shake the feeling that there was someone out there, but could not place her finger on it.
“We will find you,” she said to herself, quietly. “You will pay for your actions.” She whispered as she scowled while looking at the horizon.
Her comrades continued scouring the area.
The longer the search lasted, the more intense Barah became. She was almost obsessed with the search. She would push her platoon until something came up.

The Alliance, Part 7

Days ago, in the Villain’s Testing Chamber. . .
The Heroes and Villain Leaders watched the events in the Chamber intently. The Leaders, eager to see Decim8r’s capabilities, and the Heroes longing for their partner to be saved. Somehow, some way.
Darkon spoke very quietly into the microphone he used to give Decim8or orders. He then laughed to himself.
The monster closed in on Nex, who was moving slower because of the dust from the toppled building.
It got closer and closer.
Breeze couldn’t bear to watch anymore, so she looked away, covering her eyes.
The machine was now right behind Nex, walking in tandem with the scared Hero.
Then, it grabbed Nex with four of its six arms. The other two had giant, deadly saws.
Nex yelled in protest, barely seeing the red eyes of his assailant.
He was able to angle his gun backwards to shoot Decim8r in the face, and fired a round.
It didn’t even wince. It then proceeded to smash Nex’s arm, breaking it, causing him to lose grip of his gun. It pulverized the gun with its foot and got a tighter grip on him. It started to squeeze, harder and harder. It activated its weapon tail and brought it towards Nex’s body.
Nex yelled in agony.
“NOO!” Stormer said, jumping to his feet from the metal bed in his cell.
--
There were some prison guards who pulled up the camera feed from the Team Alpha Hero’s containment cells on their computer monitor to see their reactions. They snickered as they saw the fright in their eyes. Practically laughed as Breeze curled up in a ball, crying.
One of the Villains said, “Those pathetic Heroes deserve all that’s coming for them for the way they treated us.”
“Indeed,” another one commented. “Indeed.”
--
Nex was no more.
What Decim8r did was something no Hero ever wanted to speak of.
If only we could restore order, Stormer thought, these Villains would face a punishment so dire, there would never be a Villain uprising again.
He was filled with anger and sorrow all at once.
The monitors in the Hero’s cells powered down and folded back into the ceiling.
--
The Villain Leaders were impressed. Very much so.
Darkon was eventually brought to the Throne Room and stood before all three of the Villain Leaders.
Von Nebula started with, “Most impressive, Darkon.”
“Yes, I agree.” Said Voltix. “This machine will be very useful.”
“I concur,” The Black Phantom added. “What we saw was more than I had hoped for. Now, how long will it be before this is field-ready?”
“But a mere week or two, sirs.” Darkon replied.
“Can it be done faster?” Von Nebula prodded.
“Possibly. The reason it will take that long is to test its weapon resistance. You saw how it was able to take a bullet to the face unscathed. Maybe a dent, but nothing to stop it. I want to make sure it’s at least explosive resistant. There’s no telling what this machine might come up against out there. Hunters, Heroes, or even resourceful Strays.”
“Very well. Good thinking. But, get it finished as quickly as possible. We must find those treacherous Hunters who killed some of our Searchers.” Von Nebula said.
“I will certainly do my best sirs. Thank you very much for the speedy supply of materials as well. It’s helped us tremendously. We will work very hard; I promise you that.”
“Thank you Darkon.” The Phantom said. “You may leave in a moment. We will continue to send you supplies as quickly as we can.”
Voltix said, “We have one request, though, before you continue work. We’ve just received word that there was another Hunter attack. We want you to go ahead and send it out to search the scene of the attack. I’ll have a squad of our Elite City Guards sent along for protection. There are Searchers at the site currently, but we need its analytical skills to scope the area out.
“I will prepare it for transport right away.”
“You may go.”
With that, Darkon saluted the Leaders and left the Throne Room.
--
Currently. . .
The Alliance’s Plan continued. After some rest and a restocking of supplies, they were ready to start making a way to free Strays from the nearest City.
Finally, Jerin thought, I may once again be reunited with my family! One day.
Aleck was thinking the very same thing.
Oran had constructed a few more Square devices for use in the outskirts of the City. It would help them avoid detection when freeing the Strays. Once they got to the City, they would either, depending on the circumstances, A) free all of the Strays when the Villains don’t suspect it, or B) free them slowly over time. B was the more likely option, though. If all else failed, and the small Alliance group on mission was about to be caught, one Stray was to be bait as the others escape. Once arrested by the Villains, he would go into the City and observe as much as possible. He would try to instill hope in the other Strays who were in the City, and try to make a way to escape. If there was a way for them to communicate with the Alliance, they should do so. But, they mustn’t reveal their involvement with the Alliance, even if it meant not telling fellow Strays of its existence. The reason for this, is that there may be Villain loyalists who would reveal these secrets. He would have to make up a metaphor of what the Alliance is, not make it seem as if it actually exists. This would apply to all of the other Cities as well.
For this first quest, Jerin and Oran would remain at the House, upon the request of many of the Alliance members. Sheer did the same, since she would be too recognizable, though she hopes to help on one of the quests at some point. Aleck was willing to go, but he may also be recognized, since he was the one who was conspiring with Sheer. So, a Stray named Joshua, a highly trusted Alliance member, would go on to lead this group. This team would consist of Joshua, two other Strays and a Hero, Callibur. The whole group was given com links and supplies. Then, they set forth on their mission.
--
The despicable Hunter, Ahaz reveled in the chaos he had caused for the Searchers and City Guards. His minions laughed and celebrated right along with him.
Brey sat in a corner, but this time, he was not hand-cuffed. He knew better than to try and escape. He was well aware of what would happen to him if he attempted to leave them. But, he still pondered on ways to get away. If there was a way, he hoped it would reveal itself soon.
He was still baffled that Villains were now fighting against each other. He could understand the head of a gang beating up on his underlings every once in a while, to keep them in submission, but not a battle between factions. Well, it hadn’t gotten to that point yet, but, if Ahaz kept up the violence against Searchers and Guards, and other Hunters decided to join him in doing this, it could lead to an actual war.
A gang member walked into the room.
“Sir,” the lackey said to Ahaz, “There is a neighboring gang of Hunters who wishes to make a pact with us.”
Wow, Brey grumbled to himself. What timing!
“What did they say to you?” Ahaz asked him, with a puzzled look.
“They needed supplies, since theirs have run short.”
“What kind of pact do they want?” he demanded of his henchbot.
“They didn’t say.”
“Hmm. Let their leader in, but that’s it.”
“Yes sir.”
“You two,” He said as he pointed at a few other gang members, “Go out there, with your weapons, and keep an eye on the visitors. We don’t want any trouble.”
“Yes sir!” they both said as they sprinted to the door way along with the one who had just come in.
Minutes later…
“Well, I’ve never considered having allies. But, maybe that should change. We mustn’t become too big of a group, though. We all need to get in and out of our target areas as fast as we can.”
“I can assure you,” Regahr, the leader of the other gang said, “my bots are very capable.”
“Good. You have my permission to join, but under one circumstance. I will maintain ultimate leadership. Your gang must follow all orders I give, yourself included. In turn, we will provide you with weapons and supplies.”
“Hmm. I don’t know— “
“Would you rather be caught by a platoon of Searchers because they suspect you are causing trouble and be executed on the spot?!” Ahaz exclaimed, leaning in, eyebrows raised.
Degar remained silent for a moment, contemplating his decision. Was it worth giving up command in order to have allies, supplies and weapons? He wondered.
Ahaz waited for a few moments to hear Degar’s response. “Well, what’s the verdict?”
“I’d like to speak with my bots before proceeding with any agreement.”
Ahaz sighed. “Very well. Go.”
Regahr walked outside and spoke with his gang. He confirmed to his group that this surely had to be the gang of Hunters they had been searching for.

MOC: Gath, the Space Pirate!

Hey everyone! I just recently got some time to sit down and make a MOC, so this is what I came up with. This is Gath, a pirate from outerspace. Not much, story wise, I just wanted to make a nice little MOC in my spare time. I was able to use some parts I've been hoping to utilize at some point.
Well, I hope you all like it

The Alliance, Part 6

“My name is Brey.”
Drack and the captured Stray took a right turn, towards the cruiser.
“Alright, Brey. This may be the last time we see each other before I take you to the nearest City. Thanks for your cooperation. My name is Drack, and my partner, who should be here shortly, is named Cain.”
“Oh, I wouldn’t count on that happening!” A voice called from behind Drack.
“Huh!?” Drack grunted, startled by the voice and by the words he just heard. Fear slipped its way into his mind. He froze, afraid of what he would see.
“Now, if you don’t mind, we’d like our Stray back. Un-harmed and un-cuffed!” the voice commanded.
Drack began to turn around.
“No! Stay facing that way! Release the Stray then drop your weapon.” The voice said. “If you cooperate, I won’t have to use force.” The voice said, mocking Drack’s earlier statement to Brey.
Drack tried to turn around again. NO ONE will tell me what to do! He thought to himself.
ZAAPPP!
Drack’s eyes slowly closed as he fell to the ground, unconscious. Thud!
Cain’s motionless body was thrown down beside Drack’s.
“Hmm hmm!” the voice laughed. “That takes care of those two for now.”
“This is wonderful!” Another voice said.
“Now, un-cuff our Stray. We need him around still.” The first voice commanded. “But, now it’s time for part two. Those other pests will be here soon to back up these sorry Searchers. Go around back and wait till I give the word.”
Minutes later…
“Wha… What? What happened?” A Searcher named Raan said.
All the Villains who heard Drack’s call surrounded the bodies of Drack and Cain.
A City Guard member stepped up to the bodies. “That’s the two who called us alright. I’ll check to see if they’re okay.” He then crouched down to observe the bodies.
“What could have gone on here?” another Searcher named Makahr said.
“I just want to know how a single Stray could have taken out two of our own so quickly!” Raan said.
“They both appear to be alive,” The City Guard said. “Cain seems to be in pretty bad shape, though. But, Drack only has a minor injury.”
Something small hit the City Guard, and down he went, right on top of Drack and Cain.
--
The simulation that happened days ago at the Villain’s Research Laboratory, continued…
Nex tried to get as far away from the house as possible. As he was about to step foot outside the house, a giant boulder landed right in front of the door way. He bashed his head on it, toppling over backwards. He scrambled to get up, running for the back door of the house he hoped would be there. He had to get out soon, or that tall building that looked loose earlier, that is now falling directly on the house Nex is in, would smash him to smithereens!
There was a window at the back, but no door he could see. He stopped briefly, heard chunks of the tower crush the ceiling of the front of the house. He decided he would run and break through the back window.
He ran, jumped and, Crash!
He was through the window. He did a roll, got back on his feet and continued to run, barely holding onto his gun. He wanted to lighten up the load by dropping it, but decided to keep it, just in case he ran into some trouble.
Project Weapon, aka Decim8r, was not far behind, staying clear of the havoc he had created. Its goal was to intercept soon. But, it was enjoyable toying with the target!
A huge cloud of dust burst from the impact of the tower on top of the house, sending debris everywhere, nearly missing Nex in some instances.
Nex continued to run, but the dust was gaining on him fast. It would soon be difficult to see. Nex struggled to go faster, away from the chaos. Little did he know, chaos itself was near him at though it all.
--
Currently…
Huhh!” The rest of the Villains shouted, surprised. They all to turned around as fast as they could, many to fall the same way the City Guard member did.
One by one, Searchers fell to the ground, the other City Guard member with them was the first to fall.
Was this some sort of strategy? Take the Guards out first?
As Raan turned around, he realized they had all walked into a trap. He also saw the face of the mastermind behind this. Ahaz. The menace who killed some of his comrades. The cause of all this mess.
“Hello Sergeant Raan.”
Raan scowled as he recognized the Villain he was staring at. “Ahaz.” He muttered, disgusted.
“Go ahead. Try and attack me.”
Raan growled and continued to stare at Ahaz.
“Well? Don’t you want to attack the one who just took out your whole team?” he snickered.
Raan’s eyes enlarged as he looked behind him to see one of the other Searchers fall face flat onto the ground. Now, his whole team was taken out, Raan the only Searcher remaining.
“I’m still here.” Ahaz said, smiling, his arms out in a come and get me pose.
Raan looked Ahaz in the eyes. “I hope you know what this means, right?”
Ahaz leaned in. “Is that some sort of threat? You’re gonna have to try harder than that. Your Leaders can’t help you right now.”
“You really will pay for this!”
“Oh, stop it with the empty threats!”
Raan scowled.
“Also, if you were trying to send out a distress signal to any other Villains in the area, your transmissions have been jammed.” Ahaz said, grinning.
Raan felt the fear rising again. Was he lying? How could this be?
--
Cain suddenly awoke, eyes wide open, taking in all the madness he saw around him.
He felt crushed, literally. The beating he took earlier was bad enough, now, being under the bodies of fellow Villains, he could barely get up. Then he saw the Searcher Sergeant, Raan, face to face with . . .  some Hunter. He didn’t know who it was, but had a feeling he was the one behind all this, and likely behind the death of some of his comrades who were left lifeless at the Capitol City gate. He looked up to see who was on top of him. A number of Searchers and Drack. Cain slowly, so as not to draw attention, contorted his arm backwards to try and shake Drack awake.
He was successful.
Drack opened his eyes and moaned.
One of the Hunters behind the pile of bodies heard the grunt and started to walk around.
Cain motioned for Drack to be quiet.
Drack was face down as the Hunter slowly approached the front of the pile.
--
Dust engulfed the streets Nex was running down, so, he had no choice but to slow down a bit to avoid tripping on something, or running into a wall.
Where could he go?
What is going on?
Why am I outside the Capitol City?
What is going on?
Where are the rest of the Heroes?
WHAT is GOING ON?!
These thoughts raged through Nex’s mind as he moved along.
Decim8r’s special visual sensors had the capability to see right through the dust clouds. He could see the confusion and fear in the eyes of Nex.
Soon, it would make its move.
Very soon.
If it had the capacity to feel emotions, it would be exited right now.
--
Ahaz ordered Raan to give him the com link he had.
So, Raan did it. There wasn’t much of a choice at this point.
“Very good. Now, you,” he pointed to one of his gang members, “Turn off the jammer. I want to have a conversation with our other Villain buddies.” He laughed a little.
“You betcha!” The gangster flipped a switch on the backpack he wore.
Ahaz pressed the talk button on the com link. “Hello fellow Villains! I have struck yet again! Ha ha ha!” he cackled.
Cain started to look up at Ahaz and scowled. He had an idea. It might be the end of him, but he was going to do it anyway, for the sake of his partners.
The Hunter who was walking around the pile of bodies noticed him.
Ahaz listened to see if there was any response on the com link. Then, moments later, there was one.
“Who are you? What’s your problem, you sorry Hunter!” someone said over the link.
Ahaz pressed talk to respond. “Why would I reveal that? It’s fun to hear the ‘powerful’ Villain Leader’s pathetic servants not knowing what they’re doing. Not having ‘everything under control--’.”
Cain called out, not seeing the Hunter off to the right of him, out of his field of vision. “His name is Aha—“
Boom!
Cain’s body lie limp on the ground.
“What’s going on there?” the Searcher talking to Ahaz over the com said.
Drack stared at his now former partner, shocked to see the wretchedness of these Hunters.
He would enact revenge! One way or another. But, now was not the time. He would surely face the same fate as Cain if he moved even a little bit.
“What was that?!” Ahaz demanded of the gangster who just took Cain out.
“One of them had awoken and tried to reveal who you are, so I took care of them.”
“Drat. Well, we should get going then, very soon.”
He then grabbed a smoke grenade pulled the pin, let go of the release, and threw it at the knocked out Villains, just in case any others were awake so they would see the Hunter gang’s escape.
Pfffffffffff!
Ahaz then responded to the Villain on the com, “Why not come here and find out yourself?”
With that, Ahaz ordered his gang to leave the area immediately as he dropped the com link, which the Searchers and Guard members could most likely track.
They cleared out so quickly, it was as if they were ghosts. There were no traces left to find out where they had gone. Just as Ahaz liked it.
As for why all the Searchers weren’t just killed on the spot, Ahaz wanted some survivors, for the sake of making them feel fear. Some would die, and some would live. He wanted Searchers and Guards to feel the need to watch their backs at all times. He wanted to disrupt the leadership. He believed this would ultimately help in his plan, Anarchy.
