The Good Traitor, Part 1

The Good Traitor (Part One)
“It’s an honor to be here, Sir. It’s not every day that one of us Searchers gets to come meet you one on one--,” she said to her Leader, bring cut off.
“Cut it out, will you,” her Leader shouted.
            “Wha-, what’s the problem, Sir?”
            “You know exactly what!”
“I’m serious Sir, what are you talking about?”
“You know very well what I’m talking about, you traitor,” her Leader, the Black Phantom shouted.
“Traitor?” Sheer, the Villain Searcher that had been brought before the Black Phantom asked. She was tall, Blue, and stronger then she looked. She had a rifle of her own, and had silver and white armor plates as well.
            “Traitor?” The Phantom said mockingly.
“What is it that I am being accused of? I’ve done nothing against you! Why would I ever do anything against you?”
“Because,” Drack, the Villain that caught Sheer in a offensive act added. “I clearly saw you conspiring with that Stray, and then proceeded to let it go! The only reason I didn’t stop it myself was because I thought you were just planning on capturing it at some point, because it probably wouldn’t be expecting it!”
Sheer was speechless. She never suspected that anyone would find out about her meeting with the Stray. This is was the first time she has been confronted about this. She wasn’t sure how they had found out about it.  She hoped that they didn’t actually hear what they were discussing. That would probably make things even worse for her.
Fortunately for her, they didn’t say anything about what was discussed between her and the Stray.
The Black Phantom then said, “Since Drack is one of my most trusted bots, I believe what he is saying is true. So, I will have you punished for treason!”
“But, I have done nothing! I promise you, I would never do such a thing as to conspire with Strays,” Sheer shouted, with a little bit of insecurity in her voice.
“Ah, you deny which you know you have done yet again… Huh,” the Phantom grunted, “Well, I was thinking about just having you deactivated and be done with this whole mess, but, now I have something else in mind…” He paused. “Banishment!” The Phantom then proclaimed. “Not only will you be banished from all of the Cities that us Leaders have control over; but if you are seen by any of our Searchers, I give them permission to have you destroyed in any way they see fit.”
Then the Phantom called over one of his City Guards, Mordeki. He was very tall, dark and hardly ever spoke, unless he was directly addressed to by one of the Villain Leaders. That was one of the main reasons he was appointed to his position.
            Mordeki replied, “Yes, sir?”
“Take her rifle, and have it incinerated!” the Phantom said, pointing at Sheer.
            “Right away, sir.”
Mordeki then started walking over to Sheer.
Sheer wondered if she could make a run for it, and escape through one of the doorways, but a quick glance around the “Throne room”, as the Leaders  called it, proved to her it would be a fatal mistake.
Mordeki then stepped in front of Sheer and held out his hand in front of her.
“Hand it over,” he said, in a commanding voice.
Sheer then handed him the rifle. If she didn’t, she would probably be shot on the spot. Mordeki then walked off with Sheer’s rifle, and went off to have it incinerated.
Drack then said, “I will inform all of the City Guards and Searchers of your proclamation, Sir!”
“But first, transport this pathetic, worthless, traitor out of this City at once!” the Black Phantom commanded. “I don’t ever want to see your face again,” he also said, glaring at Sheer.
            “Right away, Sir,” Drack said.
Drack then put Sheer in handcuffs and readied his ship to transport her out of the City.
The ship was about the size of a regular Hero Transport Drop ship, but had a different design. It was dark silver, and looked like it had been recently fixed up. There was a pilot and copilot seat in the very front, and doors for both sides. Behind the pilot and copilot seats was an open space where supplies and weapons were stored for transport. There were two sliding doors on the ship, one on each side that could be opened to gain access to whatever was on the inside.
Then Drack opened one of the sliding doors and put Sheer where the supplies or weapons would have gone. Fortunately for Sheer, there was nothing in that area that would cause the ride out of the City to be uncomfortable. He then closed the sliding door.
Drack walked up to the pilot side door and opened it, sat down in the seat, and started the engine of the ship, then let it warm up a little while. After that, they were off.
During the trip, neither of them spoke to each other for a long time.
