Darth Vader and General Grievous Constraction Sets!
Hello fans! As many of you may know, I was able to pick up a few very nice new Constraction sets, General Grievous and Darth Vader. These are my favorite figures of this Star Wars buildable action figure line so far, with a very nice combination of CCBS and Technic builds. Darth Vader's torso in mainly comprised of Technic under all those CCBS armor plates, and Grievous utilizes Technic mainly in the legs. Plus, General Grievous is one of my all time favorite villains from Star Wars. and I think Lego did him justice with the set. So, in summary, if you have the means to get these sets, in the words of Shia LeBouf, "Just Do It!"
In all honesty, though, these sets are a little pricey. for constraction. But, I'd say you'd be better off buying one of these sets than one of the Star Wars System sets. Those ones are crazy expensive.
Plus, as the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in a few months, the hype for this film series has been gaining a LOT of traction. Personally, I'm very exited as well, if you haven noticed, LOL.
Hope you all have a nice day!

The Plan Proceeds, Part 6
The days following Oran's presentation, great progress was made on the House. On the interior, that is. They wanted to keep it inconspicuous, so as not to draw attention to their place of shelter. They covered up all of the windows to keep anyone from seeing in, and for better security. Metal plates were welded around the window frames to keep them secure. Since the House was a large home, it fit many Strays and Heroes alike comfortably.
In the coming weeks, a new female Hero named Bree Lotus was found, a good ways away from the Alliances hideouts. But, with the new Squares, and knowledge of the Villain's patrols, members of the Alliance were able to venture further with a smaller chance of getting caught, and access to supplies was improved as well.
Zakor, while on one of these treks to find more Strays and possibly Heroes, noticed the Villain patrols were more consistent, and that the platoon of Villain Searchers who was going on random searches was nowhere to be found. He assumed they must have given up their search, if they were looking for him, that is.
As was becoming oddly usual, Hunters were not seen around as much as before. Likely because they have established their own places to live, or what not. It was a bit mysterious, still.
Later on, the Alliance was able to create radar boosters in secret places, giving them eyes in places where there was no risk of lives. They would be able to detect Villain movement well before they could get to either Alliance hideout.
The Plan was going well, with little to no casualties. There were a few close calls here and there, and one or two shuffles with a gang of Hunters, but, each group of Alliance Strays was accompanied by a Hero, and the groups were able to subdue the Villains.

In the Villain Research Lab, experiments proceeded as usual. Mainly on things created there at the Castle.
The Project, the Villains attempt to create a Super Soldier, was still in progress. But, The Project had been put on the back-burner for the time being. Mainly because of the incident where the experiment escaped the Lab, and caused trouble.
Now a new project called "Weapon" was being worked on. The goal of this new project was to create a being that was very intimidating, ruthless, extremely deadly, and did not look humanoid. It would be used to search out any Heroes, Strays, or, if it ever came to it, Hunters that the Villains were in a desperate search for.
They were going for something that would have many extremities, many weapons, and strike fear into the inner beings of all who opposed it. Or, worse, the very one's being hunted. It would have extreme senses, and a monster-like personality. Also, depending on the target, the Weapon, as it would be called, that or by it's nickname, would either destroy the target on the spot maliciously, or hold on to them until the Weapon made it back to the Castle with it's captured individual.
Darkon figured this would be a good idea for the time being, and hoped it would please the Villain Leaders.
Before they began work on project Weapon, Darkon had discussed the idea with his Research team to see if they were up to it after the incident with The Project. They all agreed. One of their secret objectives with this new project, though was to help them find the escaped experiment if it turned out still being alive however likely or unlikely it might have been.
So, Darkon proceeded to present this idea before Black Phantom, as was required of them before work on any new projects. The Black Phantom, still shooken up about the seemingly pointless search for the experiment decided it would be a good idea, and granted him permission, after a meeting with the rest of the Villain Leaders.
Darkon gladly returned to his Lab and began work.
He already had an idea in mind for what his first creation would look like, and they all brainstormed and stared sketch ups and design possibilities. They also discussed weapons and weapon systems that were currently in use by the City Guards and Searchers, and how they could be improved and implemented on this new creation.
"I'm sure the Villain Leaders will be impressed with our creation once it is complete!" Darkon stated, proudly.
"The ones being hunted down by this Weapon will stand no chance!" He exclaimed with a big grin and a loud laugh.
The rest of the Villain Researchers agreed with evil laughs of their own.
Darkon rubbed his hands together and said, excitedly, "Lets begin!"
His eyes glowed with anticipation.
His eyes glowed with anticipation.
--
The lifeless body of a Searcher fell to the ground from the blade of the Hunter, Ahaz.
The rest of his Hunter gang giggled as they helped take out the rest of the squad of Searchers that was passing by.
"You should have listened to me, boy. I told you that Stray was mine!" he said to the dead Searcher, as he usually did. It was just one of his customs, to speak briefly to his terminated opponent before leaving the robotic carcass to rust.
The rest of his gang, seven in total now, came in, one clenching the arm of a squirming male Stray, named Bray.
Ahaz stared at the Stray with a wicked grin. He could see the fear in the Stray's eyes.
The Hunters heard a voice from outside.
"What was that?! I thought you destroyed them all!" Ahaz exclaimed.
"I was sure we did, sir!", one of the other Hunters said.
"Stay here with the Stray," Ahaz told the Hunter holding on to Bray. "I'm not finished with you yet," he said to the Stray, pointing a finger at him.
"Give me your weapon." He instructed one of the other Hunters. They did just as he said, with no hesitation.
"You, go around the other side," he told one of the others. "Whoever this guy is, he's not getting away." They exited the building, where the whole toil with the Searchers trying to capture the Stray, took place.
"They heard me!" a voice said from around the destroyed building. Ahaz and the other Hunter dashed around opposite sides of the building, and saw the lone Searcher scurry away, frightened that he had been discovered.
Ahaz pulled up his gun, sights on the fleeing Searcher. "Follow the fool, but stay out of my line of fire, will you?" he said to the second Hunter. He did so.
Ahaz got his sights lined up once again and fired.
BANG!
The Searcher body fell to the ground. It was dead.
The Hunter who was in pursuit stopped abruptly, and looked back at Ahaz.
"Take the Searcher's worthless body back to the building. We'll show those Leaders who gets their way around these parts."
The rest of the Hunters were eagerly waiting inside the broken down building.
"We'll show these Leaders that I can do what I want, how I want, wherever I want without them getting their rusty hands in my business!"
The other Hunters grunted and whooped in agreement.
"Tonight we will leave the bodies of these Searchers at the gates of the Capitol City. We'll do it quickly. We mustn't be seen by any of their City Guards."
So, that night, that's exactly what they did. They had the Stray watch the whole thing. They had him gagged so as not to alarm anyone, and had been threatened not to make a peep. He heeded to their warning. Bray couldn't believe the things he had seen earlier. How ruthless Hunters could be, and how Ahaz could actually take on quite a few Searchers, or maybe, even City guards all by himself.
Since Ahaz couldn't decide what he wanted to do with Bray the next morning, he decided to keep him around. To just tie him up like some sort of creature at night to keep him from getting away. The Hunter gang never really harmed him, but they were rough with him when taking him from place to place. So, he would live to see another day.

"What!?" The Black Phantom shouted angrily, responding to the news he just heard.
"Yes sir." The City Guard member said, looking downward. Their bodies were found early this morning at the front Gates."
"Who did this to my Searchers!?" the Phantom said, enraged.
"By the looks of it, and from my experience, sir. . . Hunters. Also, we received a distress signal from that very squad. It wasn't very clear what was going on, all we knew was it was an emergency. We sent out a team of Searchers to find them, but they were unsuccessful."
"GRR! We must find the Culprits at once! Tell those bots at the Lab to work harder on that Weapon project now! Also, inform them I'll give them all the supplies they need." The Phantom responded, infuriated.
"Yes sir." The Guard said, turning around.
"NOW!!" The Black Phantom practically screamed, with eyes literally glowing with utter rage.
Mordeki quickly opened the door, and pointed toward the Lab, glaring at the Guard as he usually did to anyone who was leaving the Throne Room when the Phantom was mad, regardless if The Phantom was mad at the individual or about a situation.
The City Guard took off in the direction of the Lab, slightly frightened from the Phantom's outburst and the glare he got from Mordeki.
The End.
For Now.
For Now.

The Plan Proceeds, Part 5
Oran crept around the corner of the new house the Alliance had found for the overflow of new Strays to stay. He hoped no one would notice his absence. He squatted down behind the back of the house.
He quickly opened his bag and pulled out a black rectangular shaped object. He twisted a knob on it, and it made a faint squawking noise. He glanced around, and put in an ear piece that he connected to the object.
He listened.
"Where have you been?! Why haven't you told us anything?" a voice came from his ear piece.
He replied in a whispered tone, "I don't have much time to talk. Just know that they're falling for everything I've been saying. So far, it's all going to the plan. There may be a few complications, but we'll have them worked out shortly."
"Fine. But, I expect more frequent communication, and more information very soon!"
"I'm doing my best. Do you know how hard it is to.... Gotta go. Over and out."
"Wait...!"
Oran quickly threw the communication device in his bag, and unhooked the ear piece. Someone must have noticed him back there.

--
"We finally made contact with out Bot, sir."
"Excellent. What did you hear from them today?"
"Well, sir, all we know is that the plan is going well, but there were a few complications."
"Complications?"
"He didn't elaborate on what they were, exactly. He had to leave mid conversation."
"Very well, then. Did he explain why it's been so long since we've had contact? And why we're not aware of his location? I thought we were supposed to have eyes on him!"
"As did I, sir. But, he seems to have disabled the tracking device, and we were not able to track where his call came from. I believe, if he wanted nothing to do with us anymore, he never would have contacted us again. It seems he's even more intelligent than we first thought."
"Sigh... I suppose you're right. I'm sure he's aware if we wanted to, we'd have the whole surrounding area searched out even greater than it already is. We'd leave no pile of rubble un-turned. Remind him of that the next time we make contact. In fact, let me tell him personally."
"It will be done, sir."
"Good..."
--
"What are you doing back here, Oran?" Aleck asked.
"Oh, hey. Just... looking to see if there are any damages or holes on the house that Villains would be able to peer through and see us Strays and Heroes in here, you know what I mean?"
"Sure. Anyway, why don't you join us in securing the house in case there are any emergencies?"
"Alright. Sounds good to me. That's partly what I was doing out there, but sure. Why not?"
Oran shrugged.
Oran shrugged.
Aleck questioned the validity of Oran's response to his reasoning for being behind the house, but put that thought aside and they both went inside the house to make it a more hospitable place to live.
--
"Why are we still sending out Searchers to look for this stupid experiment?" exclaimed the Black Phantom. "If it was still out there, we'd most definitely have located it by now!"
"But, sir!" Darkon argued, "I need to make sure-"
"I've had quite enough. I want my Searchers back to where they are supposed to be, on their regular patrols!"
"But-"
"Shut up! . . . Anak, take this one out of here!"
Darkon knew to shut his mouth when Anak got involved.
Anak stepped from the shadows, came towards Darkon, grabbed his shoulder, turned him around and shoved him out the throne room door, face flat on the floor, only to stand up to see Mordeki staring him down.
"Get up, fool. Return to your laboratory." Moredki commanded Darkon, pointing towards the Villian Lab.
--
Some Time Later...
"Here, let me talk to him... What information do you have for us now?"
"We've got two main groups right now. It'll be a good bunch once we move forward with this plan." Oran replied.
"Why is it we can't track you?"
"Oh, don't worry about that. This will all be worth it in the end, trust me"
"You know, we could have a group of Searchers on your tail in no time. We'll leave no area un-searched, no pile of rubble left alone--!"
"Yes, I'm well aware of it. I have no intention of leaving, if that's what you're concerned about. What would I hope to gain from leaving you guys anyway? I'd be no better off then these losers I'm currently with."
"Alright. Well, at least you know."
"I have to go now. I lied about where I was going, and someone will probably need me shortly. Over and out."
Static
"It sounds like he's taken heed to my warning. By the way, were you able to track the call?"
"No, sir."
"Drat! Oh well. He said this would all be worth it in the end. Let's hope so."
--
Oran stepped in front of the gathered Strays and Heroes, like a commander before his troops. The whole Alliance, in the new "House", as it was called now. The place they had found to shelter more Alliance members.
Oran couldn't help but think to himself about the fact that they were all together like a flock of animals, completely unaware of what would happen to them one day.
He began his presentation.
"Hello my friends!" Oran began, with a smile. "I have something here I've been developing for a while now. I call them 'Squares'!" He held up a small square black device with a back-lit screen on it. "These Squares will help us to keep track of each other at all times via the small screen with a radar display. Villains will appear as red dots, and any other Square devices will appear as green dots on the display. Plus, it is able to jam the radars of Villains, whether they be Searchers, City Guard, or what have you. Point is, it'll keep them from finding you. In case any of you are wondering, no, the Villain radar jammer is not able to to be turned off. I've tested them all individually on different days, and they all work. They are even solar powered!"
The Alliance members were astonished.
Oran continued his speech, "Now that we have these, we will be able to track all of our groups, wherever they may be. As with any radar, there is a range limit. But, ranges can be improved if we are able to set up secret transmitters in different areas. I have also been working on ways for us to make contact between the Hatch and this new place, the House. It can't be a land line, since Villains will most likely be able to spot something like that. So, we will have to develop a way of communication that is wireless."
Oran was able to keep their attention, and gain their trust further.
Aleck kept having the feeling something wasn't right, but ignored it.
When the presentation was through, the Strays and Heroes disbanded, and got to work on fixing up the new House.
Aleck spotted Zakor and pulled him aside and said, "Something seems a little off about Oran to me. I can't quite put my finger on it, though."
"How do you mean?" Zakor responded.
"I don't know. Just . . . Something."
"Oh?"
"Well, earlier, I saw him back behind the House, acting a little strangely. He was fumbling around his words, and all."
"He may not have been expecting you to come around, and was surprised."
"That's what I'm afraid of."
"Hmmm. I suppose I see your point. Well, I don't think it's anything, really. All he's done for us is help bring the Plan further into fruition. Now, he's presented those new Squares for us to use. He's only done good for the Alliance. Can you name one thing he's done to set us back on our planning? Or anything he's done to stall The Plan, even? "
Aleck had to think. "I see what you're saying. I just sincerely hope that nothing is going wrong we don't know about."
"Well, there's not time to worry about something so implausible, my friend. We need to get to work. our next step is to start freeing family and friends.
"But, for your sake, I'll keep a watchful eye on him as well," Zakor said, in a caring way.
"I appreciate it," Aleck said.
A voice came from behind Zakor.
"Hey, Zakor! We're gonna need your strength for this over here!"
"I'll be right over!" He responded.
"I'll talk to you later, alright?" Zakor said to Aleck.
"Thanks!" Aleck replied.
The two parted and went off to help fix their new House.

The Plan Proceeds, Part 4
The search for the loose experiment was in force for a while
now. So far, the select team of Searchers was unsuccessful in their attempts to find the mutated being. The
Villain Leaders were starting to think that the search, requested by Darkon
himself, was becoming a waste of time and resources. But Darkon insisted they
make sure that the experiment was dead.
His real reasoning
behind the continual search, though, is to make sure the experiment did not
cause harm to any Villains, or damage anything that belongs to the Villain
Leaders. That would end in his demise, most likely. He had the nagging feeling
his experiment was still alive, somewhere, somehow.
And he was right.
--
As time went by, the 3 Strays had finally gotten down all of
the Searcher and City Guard’s patrol patterns. They knew exactly where and when
there would be a platoon of Villains. The Hunters had been oddly quiet lately,
for reasons unknown. Either the City Guard had driven them out, or they have
gone into hiding. Either way, they hadn't been much of a problem for The
Alliance, the official term decided upon by the original team of 3 Strays and
two former Villains.
Also, The Plan was slowly, but surely. progressing and that
meant the team had grown. They had now found a new female Stray, named Kate,
and a Hero named Caliber. The Hatch was starting to feel a little crowded, but
not so much so that it wasn't comfortable. So, with more individuals meant more
supplies were needed to just survive. But,
with the Alliance’s knowledge of when and where Villains would be, they could
sneak around patrols, get as many supplies as they could, and get to the Hatch
safely.
An advantage of having a larger team is that they could have
eyes and ears in multiple places at once. This would be a great advantage over
the Viliains, and made their Plan more doable.
Oran was getting exited! He made every effort to help this
Plan come into fruition. It was just better for him that way. The funny part
was, he thought, was that none of them knew what would come from all this. As
he usually did while he thought about this fact, he chuckled on the inside.
--
Drack sat across the cold metal table from the Fire Lord, in
the Fire Lord’s Chamber. Their discussion went very well, and not once did the
Fire Lord seem to get angry, or sound like he was being betrayed, which was
slightly surprising to Drack. This conference went a little better than it did
with the Witch Doctor. The Doctor took more convincing to become an ally of his
than the Fore Lord did. And, Drack was serious about these alliances. No foul
play was present in these agreements. The only Searcher or City Guard who knew
about these alliances was Cain, who was sworn to secrecy. Drack was actually
starting to like Cain better than before. It wouldn’t be worth betraying him,
since Drack and Cain now had each other’s back. But, Sheer still did pop into
Drack’s mind every now and then, but his feeling of depression was pushed from
his mind, and he carried on. Maybe with this alliance of the two major Hunter
leaders, the Witch Doctor and the Fire Lord, maybe he’d have a chance to
find Sheer again.
This type of alliance wasn’t forbidden by the Villain
Leaders, but it was frowned upon. Drack had agreed that if a group from one of
the Hunter Leader’s gangs (Witch Doctor and Fire Lords's) was attacked by a platoon of Villains under the
Villain Leader’s control, he would not reveal his alliance with the Hunters,
and that Cain would not either.
The Hunter Leader, Fire Lord, and the Searcher arose, shook hands, and Drack went on his way, satisfied.
Now he had brought together some of the most powerful
Villains, other than the Villian Leaders, together. He knew if there was division
among the Villains, it could mean a civil war, whether it be between two
different Hunter gangs, or Searchers plus the City Guard against Hunters. It
could only mean war at some point in time. So, at least this faction would not
be at war. It was important they remain loyal to each other too.
--
In the Hatch, The Alliance was gathered to further discuss
The Plan.
Oran suggested that, if they were going to continue to bring
in more bots, they were going to have to find a new place to stay, one that was
larger, that could house many more , and had more space to store supplies to
survive on, and that it should be their first priority to do so.
“Maybe,” Oran thought to himself, “I can get everyone in the same place.
Hah!” He smirked. “That would make my job a whole lot easier.”
Jerin objected. “I think it would be better to have more than
one place to stay. With our knowledge of the Villain’s rounds, we might be able
to set up a second hideout. And, if it’s large enough, we could store away
larger amounts of supplies, and not have to go back to that storage place for a
while, saving time, and possible lives.”
“Yes!” Sheer said, “Also, that way, not everyone will be in
the same place, if something was to happen to one of our hideouts.”
Everyone agreed, except for Oran.
That would make Oran’s secret plan a little harder.
Oran finally said that he agreed, and stated he’d help in the
search for a new place.
That worked for everyone else.
So, Sheer, Zakor, Kate and Alek would remain at the Hatch,
while Jerin, Oran, and Caliber would go out to search for a new place for more allies to stay.
Oran had another suggestion, just before they were about to
leave. “Why not look around for more Strays and Heroes on the way there?”
Everyone thought it was a good idea, and they set out to look
for others to join The Alliance, and a new place for them to stay.
--
As time passed, The Alliance found more Strays and yet another Hero. The next phase of The Plan was becoming more of a reality every day. It was going great! The Strays just hoped their family and friends were still fine inside the Cities. It was only a matter of time before they'd be able to effectively create an underground escape route to free some of them. They had even found an abandoned house not too far from where the Hatch was concealed, where more of the other Strays could stay. The new Hero volunteered to be the guard of that place.
It seemed the Searchers and City Guards were becoming less attentive in their patrols and had even started doubting the presence of more Heroes and/or Strays. So, the Alliance took full advantage of that.
But, there was only one group of Villains who had been doing random searches lately, for some reason. Zakor figured they were looking for him, so he was extra cautious.

The Plan Proceeds, Part 3
The hatch
door opened, and the three Strays entered, except, another bot was with them
now. Zakor.
Once all 4 of them entered, the
three Strays introduced the strange looking former Villain. Sheer was a bit
surprised to see the new bot, but figured he’d be a good member of their team.
He might even be able to help them with The Plan! Now that would be great!
The three Strays seemed to trust
the new former Villain, but Sheer wanted to see if he was truly a worthy to be
a member of their team. So, she asked him about his background.
Sheer asked him, “So, what did you
do before the Great Breakout, and The Fall of the Hero Factory?”
“Well,” he started, as he found a
spot to sit, “As far as I know, I didn’t exist before the Fall, though I could
be wrong. All I know is, that one moment, I’m brought into a room, strapped to
a cold metal table. Then, I feel a prick in my arm, and I’m out.
“As I was asleep, I can recall a
very sharp pain. It originated from this arm,” he pointed at his right arm.
“Then, the pain continued to course through my body slowly, causing
excruciating pain. I could almost feel it getting to my head. I then woke up,
broke the metal restraints that kept me on that dreaded table, with new-found
strength.
“I quickly jumped off the table,
knocking the vial of mutagen that was being injected into my right arm onto the
floor, shattering it to pieces. I didn't realize it happened until I stepped on
shards of glass on the ground, and more of the mutagen seeped into my foot. I
didn't really care at the moment though, but I let out a howl of pain anyway. I
just needed to get out of there!
“I found an emergency exit, and
dashed out of the Lab, setting off an alarm. I hoped no one was going to come
after me, so I ran for a long while.
“Then, to make a long story short,
I started losing my mind to the mutagen, and felt an unrelenting urge to find
some supplies and consume them, so I’d be able to survive. I finally found a broken down place,
the very one you guys use to get your supplies, and started devouring. Then,
one of you three,” he said pointing at the three Strays, “peeked in the
entrance I made, and I saw you, and chased after you, not having control of my
body.
“From then on, things are petty
fuzzy. The next thing I knew, I felt something hit my head, and I woke up like
this,” referring to the way he looked now. “Now, thanks to the three of you, I
have full control of my body, and I’m willing to help you all do whatever you
want, since you've saved my life! I have no want to return to the very bots
who did this to me. But, there are a few advantages to these mutations. My
senses have been improved tremendously, and I have great strength. I promise to
help you all out any way I can, even if I have to give my life to save any or all of
you, if such a dire situation was to come up.”
Well, that convinced Sheer. She
didn't have any doubt about his loyalty to them. And, she was right to do so.
He would never betray the very bots who saved his life.
“So,” Zakor just had to ask, “Would
you mind telling me about yourselves so that I can get to know the team I’ll be
working with and for?”
“Sure!” Sheer replied. Then she
spoke about her life, and how and why she was no longer a Villain.
Jerin and Aleck then spoke about
their life before and after the Fall of the Hero Factory.
Oran also spoke about his “life
before the Fall” as well, making his lies more believable than ever
before. Everyone fell for it, which was
very good for him. If they ever find out the truth, it’ll be too late for them.
He chuckled on the inside. They had
no idea what was going to happen to
them if everything went as planned. Thankfully for him, everything was still
going well, even with this new member of the team. It will be even better if
The Plan progresses further, bringing in more and more bots.
He was starting to enjoy himself.
So, all seemed well for everyone at
the moment, right there in that Hatch.

Sheer.
She was still on his mind.
He wished he hadn’t have gotten her
banished. At least he was able to keep her from being killed by the Villain
Leaders. They probably would have had her tortured, and made the death slow and
painful.
“So,” Cain began, throwing Drack’s
train of thought off, “What did you do before our great Victory over the Hero
Factory?”
“Oh, I had numerous jobs over the
years. I started off with the basic substance dealing, with a smaller gang,
just seeing how much we could get away with without the Heroes catching us. We
almost never got caught. We were caught breaking into a store once, but
took a secret tunnel we made to our hideout before the Heroes could catch us.
"Over the years, technology
became more advanced, and we Villains were able to get our hands on a lot of the new gadgets. Eventually, the Hero’s tech became more advanced as well, in
response to the new tech and weapons we had.”
He went on about the later years of
his life, mentioning the new weapons and technology the Villains were able to
get in circulation in the Black Market, and how the Heroes had upgraded over
the years too. He also spoke about where he was, and what he was doing just
before the Black Phantom hired the gang that Drack and formed and led to help
in the destruction of the Hero Factory.
Since the Villains successfully
destroyed the Hero Factory, and took over, Drack and his gang of Villains were
able to work for the Villain Leaders, and were placed in high ranks as
Searchers and City Guards. They were also well respected by many of the
Villains.
Finally, he spoke about his time
working with Sheer. He choked up a little, emotion kicking in, but was able to
hide it. At least Cain didn’t seem to notice, anyway.
Cain then asked a painful question,
“What was it like, finding out your partner was conspiring with that Stray?”
Drack looked out the passenger side window.
Drack looked out the passenger side window.
He almost couldn’t answer. After
the sorrow had subsided, rage took its place, he clenched his fist and almost snapped, but was
able to keep his cool. He closed his eyes and the rage began to subside as well.
“Well. . . I was very disappointed." He spoke, still staring out the window.
He turned to Cain and continued, "I almost couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I saw her talking to the Stray, and I just thought she was going to trick them, and swiftly capture them. But, I saw them shake each other’s hand in a friendly fashion, and went on their ways. I walked away as quickly as I could, and acted as if I was just looking around, waiting for her. When I saw her, I told her I just got a transmission to go to the Castle, because the Black Phantom wanted to speak to us personally to give us a special assignment.

When I saw her, I told her I just got a transmission to go to the Castle, because the Black Phantom wanted to speak to us personally to give us a special assignment.
“So, she gladly came, and we headed
over to the Castle. I was led into the Throne Room by Mordeki, saying that I
needed to speak to the Villain Leaders at once. He closed the door behind me and Sheer remained in the entrance hall to the Throne Room. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted the menacing Anak at his normal post in the Throne Room, on the far right side, close to the wall, shrouded in darkness, glowing red eyes that almost never blinked, staring me down. Even when I speaking to the Black Phantom, I could still feel his cold stare.
“Anyway, I told the Phantom all the
details. Sheer was then led into the room by Mordeki, thinking she was going to be
given her part of the assignment, or something along those lines. Mordeki stepped
back outside the entrance, closing the door.”
Drack recounted all of the events
leading up to Sheer's banishment. He also stated that banishment would be a good
punishment for her, since she would always have to watch her back for other
Villains. The Black Phantom agreed, and he banished her form any City under the
Villain Leader’s control.
But, deep inside, he felt sorry he
had to report her. He wished he could have just let it all go, and they could
still be partners. But he knew the Villain Leaders could find out almost anything they
wanted to, so he had no choice but to tell the truth. If he lied, they’d both
be deactivated. Slowly and painfully. It was a bit of a selfish choice, he
thought. Now he had to live with the fact that he may never see Sheer again.
But, that gave him an idea. Maybe
he could find her. He’d much rather be with her than have to work with Cain,
his new partner.
Maybe. Just maybe.

The Plan Proceeds, Part 2
It was a challenge, but the three
Strays were successful in their attempt to help the Villain they found inside
the storehouse of supplies. They were able to rig some small machines that
would stop the mutagen from spreading further through the Villain’s body. The
small machines were white, like the color of the mutated parts of their body,
and had dark orange lights that indicated the performance of the small
machines. Thankfully, for the Villain, the small machines worked just fine.
There were even wires connected to the Villains head that helped him in having
full control of his mutated body.
The three Strays waited for the
Villain to awaken, since they administered a drug to keep him asleep.
Fortunately, the drug did not have a reaction with the mutagen in the Villain’s
body, unlike the anesthetic that the Villain researchers administered to him
when they were experimenting on him.
--
“Whaaa… What? What happened? Where am
I?” he murmured .
The pain, it was ceasing rapidly!
Yes!
But then, something felt different, but in a good way, as if
the mutagen inside his body had been brought to an abrupt halt. And that was
the case.
His eyes sprang open, and he looked around, vision clearing.
He was regaining control of his body.
A wave of relief came over him. It was going to be okay!
Then, when his vision fully cleared, he was startled to see
the three Strays standing at the end of the operation table he was lying on. On
the right side, the Stray was black, white and silver. The one in the middle
was red, black, silver, and had some orange on his head. The third was orange,
black and silver. Who were these bots? What was their business here? What even
happened to him in the first place? All he could remember was that he was
completely famished, and somehow stumbled upon a building with supplies inside.
Then, his vision started blurring as he saw a figure near the entrance he had made
into the building. From that point on, everything was fuzzy.
The only other thing he could remember was feeling something
large hit his head, or that’s what he thought had happened. He’d lost
connection with reality before it happened, so he wasn’t sure.
The red and silver one began to speak.
“Hello, my name is Aleck,” he said, pointing at himself.
“This is Jerin,” he pointed at Jerin, “And this is Oran.”
“Might I ask,” Jerin began, “What is your name?”
The three tried not to rush him, but simply put the question
out there, if he was capable of understanding.
Should he trust these Strays? I mean, he was a Villain, for
crying out loud! Shouldn’t they have run away in fear? Had they done something
to him?
He wasn’t even sure what he now looked like.
He looked down at his right arm, right leg, and torso; all of
those parts of his body had been mutated, and had turned white. His head must
have turned white as well, considering it felt different compared to the parts
of his body that had not turned. He sat all the way up, and felt the wires
connected to both the left and right sides of his head. He also noticed little
lights on small machines that were connected to his body. What were they?
He finally decided to reply, “M- my name is Zakor, I’m pretty
sure… Yes, that’s right. Sorry, my memory seems to be escaping me.”
He stared at his body once more.
He looked back up at the Strays, and just had to ask, “What
did you guys do to me?”
Jerin and Aleck explained the whole operation, how they were
able to connect the small machines to his body to prevent the mutagen from
spreading any further through his body. They explained how the machines work,
and how it was all connected to his head, so he could control his entire body,
even the mutated parts. It also turned out that the mutagen greatly enhanced
his senses, and he was now much stronger than he was, before the mutagen
entered his body. Now, he had control of all of the new abilities the mutagen
brought on.
He felt very powerful, because he now was.
--
Drack couldn’t keep his mind on what
he was doing. He’d become accustomed enough to the patrolling patters he was
required to do, that he almost didn’t even have to think about it. He and his new
partner, Cain, had been working together for quite a while now. It wasn’t quite
like working with Sheer, though. This new bot was a bit younger than Sheer, and
obviously less experienced. He was exceptional with hand-held weapons, though. With his orange, black and gunmeatal colored armor, he did stand out a bit from some of the other Searchers. But, that wasn't such a bad thing.
Drack, because of his loss at his train of thought, stopped the patrol vehicle.
"Why'd you stop?" Cain asked.
Drack turned to look at Cain.
"I'm going to let you drive today," he then explained. "It'll give you some more experience."
"Really? Thank you so much!"
Cain ecstatically exchanged seats with Drack, and the were off, back on their usual patrol.
Drack got back to thinking again.

Drack got back to thinking again.
There had been very few encounters with any Strays reported
lately, which was good news to the Leaders. They figured that pretty much every
single one of the Strays had been placed in cities, and had become Citizens.
But, Drack was sure that the Strays had become much better hiders, and knew
their ways around by now.
Or, maybe the Leaders were right.
Only time would tell.
Since it had been so quiet for a
while, the only thing to really do was talk to Cain.
He decided to talk about life before the Great Breakout, and
the Fall of the Hero Factory.
Drack soon found out
that Cain used to be a member of a gang of smugglers. They’d deal all kinds of things
from illegal substances to weapons that were only issued to Heroes and
security officers. "Those ones sold for the most", he stated.
But, during one of their deals,
someone reported them, and a squad of Heroes caught them, and they were
transported to the Makuhero City maximum security prison. Both the boss of his gang
and the mob leader of the group they were selling the weapons to became
enraged, and had to move out of their hideouts in case any of their group
members fessed up, and told the Heroes where their hideout was, and what kind
of weapons and substances they had been dealing.
He heard that the Heroes had found his old hideout, but the Villains had already found another place. They had not been found until just before the Breakout. But then, before the Heroes were able to raid the hideout, they were called back to the Hero Factory to help stop the Villains from destroying it, and gaining control.

Then when the Black Phantom and
Voltix had successfully freed the Villains from the Prison. He escaped, and
helped destroy the very squad of Heroes that had caught him and his fellow gang
members.
After that, when the Villain Leaders
were setting up their own government, he was assigned to work with a Villain
named Timon. But, now that he was assigned to work with Drack, he was replaced
by a female Villain named Rhoda. And she was quite a fighter.
He continued going on and on.
Drack started to zone out, and
didn’t feel the need to pay attention since he’d allowed Cain to drive the
patrol vehicle this time.
His mind was on one thing now.
Sheer.

The Plan Proceeds, Part 1
They saw the figure step into the
storage building.
“No!” Aleck said quietly.
Aleck signaled for the group of
Strays to halt and hide.
Aleck crept over to the entrance to
the storage building, and could hear the… whatever it was… consuming the
supplies like a beast who hadn’t eaten in days. It was quite strange.
He stepped closer to the entrance, and peered inside.
Gasp!
Aleck was astonished at what he saw. The figure looked like a
Villain, but had an asymmetrical form. It
was black and had some dark grey armor on its left side, but on its right, it
was white, light grey and silver, and had white spikes. The parts of its body
that were white appeared much stronger compared to the darker, more natural
looking side. It was a very odd sight. It looked as if its body was being
mutated in very unnatural ways, which was the case.
“It’s going to consume all of the supplies if I don’t get it
out of here,” Aleck thought.
But, what could he do against this beast? Could he calm it
down?
Maybe, if he could stop it, or tame it, he could use it to
assist him and the rest of the Group for The Plan. Just maybe.
--
Why was he so hungry?
Why couldn’t he stop?
What was happening to him??!
Then, his head was getting fuzzy, vision blurring, and then
excruciating pain in his head. The mutagen was getting to his head! NO!!
--
The rubble beneath Aleck’s feet was becoming loose very
quickly, and he slid and collapsed to the ground below his feet.
Rumble…
“Ooof!”
--
The beastly being heard something, then saw a form in the entrance that he
made into the building.
What or who was it? He couldn’t see clearly enough to tell.
--
The thing inside the building saw him! NO!! This wasn’t
supposed to happen!
It appeared dazed, confused, but interested, and began to run/stumble
towards Aleck.
Aleck hastily got to his feet, and took off, away from the…
thing.
The other two Strays saw Aleck dashing away from the entrance
to the supply building and saw the strange figure chasing him.
They ran and hid in the same spot, behind some rubble,
avoiding the thing’s attention. They hid on an elevated area.
Then, Jerin had an idea! He would attempt to stop the beast
dead in it’s tracks, but not kill it. He only had one shot, and only moments to
spare.
His plan, which he told Oran, was that they would try to hit
the beast’s head, knocking it unconscious. So, they picked up a big piece of
rubble, and launched it into the air, anticipating where the beast was going to
be running.
Jerin yelled for Aleck to watch out, so he got out of the
way, as the giant piece of rubble barreled toward the beast, collided with it’s
temple, successfully knocking it out.
It fell to the ground. Stopped moving.
Oran and Jerin ran down to where Aleck was.
Aleck then said, “If we can somehow help this, I’m guessing
used-to-be Villain, maybe they’ll be a useful asset for The Plan! I mean, look
at its weapons.”
He was referring to the retractable blade on the mutated
white side of the Villain, and the other large dagger held on the Villain’s
back.
“Well....,” Oran replied. “Why would we even bother with this... monster? It looks like the result of an
experiment gone wrong! We knocked it out, so we should just get rid of it, and
that’ll be the end of it. Besides, if we don’t get supplies soon, you guys know
that Searchers and City Guards will be patrolling the area in a short amount of
time, too. Let’s just rid of this Villain, get the supplies we desperately
need, and get out of here!”
“I agree with Aleck,” Jerin said, “I think he really could be
a good asset to The Plan. He could be a worthy opponent to Villains, if he
joined our group. Besides, I think we might be able to help him, and hopefully
stop whatever is happening to him. Maybe, if we do that, he will join us!”
“That sounds like a great plan! Let’s take care of this guy,
and help him heal up, or something, and maybe he will be persuaded to join us,”
Aleck said in return.
“Fine,” Oran reluctantly said, “we’ll help him out, but we gotta get
outta here sometime soon. I’ve already stated why.”
So, the three Strays carried the infected Villain, hid him
from sight, grabbed supplies, and got out of the area as quickly as they could.
They eventually came across a health center, were able to get inside, and began
their attempt to save the Villain, who they hoped would join them.
They just really hoped it would all work out.
