Fall of the Hero Factory, Part 4

Fall of the Hero Factory, Part 4

Hello, it’s Jerin again… and I’m very fortunate to be here right now. I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it here. I’m still alive, so I’ll tell you how it all happened. I even met Evo, one of the few Heroes who had been known to still be alive. I've also made it out of Makuhero City.

I was traveling though the outskirts of a neighboring City, trying to avoid being seen by Villains of any kind. While I was climbing through a hole at the foot of a tall building, I saw a troop of Searchers rushing by. They were most likely going back to the main part of the City to help the City Guard stop a citizen, or a group of citizens, from escaping. Fortunately, I wasn’t seen. They were probably too concentrated on getting to their destination anyway.

I remained inside the building, and waited for them to pass by before I moved forward. They were moving fairly quickly.

Then, I had been spotted by a small group of 3 Hunters. I don’t even know where they were or when they noticed me. As I was trying to avoid being seen by anyone, I climbed through a broken window at the back of the building so I could continue. But I accidentally stepped on a piece of broken glass… Crack!

That must have confirmed my presence to the Hunters. Then I looked around, and sure enough, they were on me. So, I ran into another building to avoid being caught. I tried to hide in the shadows, but that wasn’t enough. The Hunters were still hot on my trail. Then they found me. The next thing I know, one of the Hunters, I’m assuming was their group leader, was rushing towards me.

Then, Evo showed up. It was as if he came out of nowhere. He threw himself in front of me to prevent me from being hit. Then there was a loud clang from the Hunter’s blade hitting Evo’s Tank Arm. They collided with enough force to make someone dizzy if they were the one being hit.

Then, the Hunter slowly backed away from us. The tall, black, yellow, creepy looking, Hunter with a mask over his mouth, then said, “Well, well, what do we have here?” He spoke in a low, gravely, intimidating, voice, muffled by his mask. “It appears that there really are surviving Heroes! I’m surprised you aren’t dead like the rest of them.”

Then Evo turned around and told me to run away to safety. I was a little hesitant, but I eventually ran out of the building. I started running as fast as I could.

But then I stopped. I couldn’t just leave Evo there to die! So, I snuck back to the building to see what was happening. There was a small hole in one of the walls that was big enough for me to peer through and hear what was going on inside.

Then I overheard one of the Hunters asking their leader if they should go after the Stray. The leader replied, “Forget the Stray! This fight should be interesting!"

"Maybe even entertaining!” he added.

Even though I couldn't see his mouth though his mask, I could tell by the expression in his eyes he had a big, nasty smile across his face.

Evo was in a ready stance.

Then, one of the other Hunters tried to attack Evo, but the leader stopped them. The leader then yelled, “No! This one is mine!”

But apparently, the other Hunter couldn’t resist trying to attack Evo. So that’s what he tried to do. But then the leader grabbed him, stepped in front of him and stabbed him right through the chest with the blade that was connected to his arm. Then the leader yelled, “I said this one’s mine!” Then he pushed the dead Hunter to the ground and growled.

Since the Villains were distracted, Evo decided to make an attempt to escape. But, sure enough, the Hunter leader spun around and went after him.

Evo then put up his Tank Arm for protection, and the fight was on.

It was starting to get very intense. The Hunter would slash at Evo, and Evo would parry the attack and try to fight back.

Then, with all the might he could, the Hunter hit Evo with one mighty blow to the body. Evo tried put up his Tank Arm in hopes it would soften the blow, but it didn’t seem to help at all.

Evo fell to the ground. It seemed as if he couldn’t get up… No!

To be continued!

Hero Factory MOC: Jerin

This is Jerin.

This is Jerin with all of his acquired equipment.

Here is Jerin! The main character from my story, Fall of the Hero Factory.
The story is told from his point of view as well. He was once a citizen from the great city, Makuhero City, before the great Breakout. But, the Villain's evil plans succeeded, and the Villains are now in control, He is known by the Villains as a "Stray", because he hasn't been "Accepted into their city", which means he hadn't been captured and placed in a city that is controlled by the Villains. Unfortunately for him, since he's a Stray, Searchers are always on the look for robots like him. If Strays are seen by Hunters, they will most likely kill the Stays, or attack them, and injure them seriously.
To survive the now  treacherous city,
Over time, he has acquired a lower arm piece of armor, a black sword, and a rifle. He also has some fighting experiences from  meeting up with Villains along the way, though he trys to avoid them as much as possible.

Fall of the Hero Factory, Part 3

Fall of the Hero Factory Part 3

Well, I've almost made it out of Makuhero City, but not without meeting up with a group of Hunters. Those creeps are everywhere. They aren’t as confined to more populated areas like the Searchers. Thankfully there were only two Hunters and not a whole group of them, though they usually don’t travel in larger groups anyway. It was a little easier to deal with them because of their smaller number.

Another, well, I suppose, “good”, thing about meeting up with Hunters is that they will not notify any other Villains that they have found a Stray in a certain area, like I’ve stated before. I doubt they would want to anyway. They usually just go in and attack or ambush us and go in for the kill, which is exactly what they tried to do to me. But fortunately, I found a few things that helped me to defeat the Hunters.

While I was trying to find my way out of the very large city, while avoiding detection from  Searchers, I found a nice black sword that I’m guessing used to belong to another robot before the great Breakout. I also found a piece of lower arm armor that was dark metallic grey and has black spikes on it. They were some interesting finds I’d have to say. I’m fortunate to have found them.

Then when I actually encountered and fought the Hunters, I used them for my advantage. I’m not sure how it would have ended without me finding the sword and arm armor. It probably would have ended fatally right then and there for me, I’m very thankful that I found them before I met up with those Hunters.

So, after a long while of fighting the Hunters, I finally killed them. I took them down one after the other. The first was a little trickier to kill, but the second, smaller, one was a little easier to take down. The bigger one had a rifle that, surprisingly, he never used. After they were both dead, I took it. It had a silencer fitted on it already and was full of ammo. This will be very useful indeed!

Then I got rid of their useless robotic carcasses under a pile of rubble near the area where we battled. If any other Hunters or Searchers were to find the dead bodies of the two Hunters I killed will probably be surprised at their finding. The battle happened in an area that would seem fit to put up a new building, so if a group of Searchers were to find their bodies there, I’d like to see the expressions on their faces. I’m not sure what they would think, but I’m sure they would wonder how it happened.

Fortunately for me, I haven’t had to deal with any Searchers… yet.

Well… I suppose I should get going now. I don’t want to deal with any of those pesky Searchers.

I had also better keep searching for my family; I hope they are still alive. Hopefully I don’t get caught in the process.

So long for now. This is Jerin, signing off.

Fall of the Hero Factory, Pt.2 By: the BolderBoulder

Fall of the Hero Factory (Part 2)

Hello, this is Jerin again. Last time we had spoken, I was nearly captured, but I got away just in time… That was a few days ago.

Man, all this moving and sneaking around Villain forces is really taking its toll on my body. Life really hasn’t been easy after the great Breakout. It’s hard not knowing if I can find a decent amount of supplies for survival. I just really hope my family is alright.  I hope they are still alive and well, and the Villains haven’t been harming them in any way.

Well, I’ve found a home that had been ransacked by some Villains, but there are still some supplies I can survive on… I’m very glad about that. The place is completely trashed, though. There is rubble everywhere and broken glass, destroyed furniture and displays of all kinds. Hmm, if I can find the room where the former owners of this home kept their supplies, it would be a very great help.

Aha! It seems that I have found their storage area. Not much is left, but what is there should be good enough until I’m able to find some more.

It also looks like the place may suffice as a shelter, though I doubt it’s safe here. There will most likely be a few groups of Hunters or other Villains going around causing destruction just for fun. I’m going to have to just collect as many supplies as I can carry without slowing me down drastically.

The Villain Leaders have proclaimed that Makuhero City is will soon be “Off limits for Construction”…  That means there may be troops of Searchers and Aracnix going around on patrol. That also means, if the City really is “Under construction”, then Villains may actually be clearing areas all over the City for whatever they want to do with it. If that’s true, then that means I won’t have very long to stick around.  I’m going to have to gather the supplies and get out of here… Now.

If the Villains ever catch me, they will either harm me in a terrible way, or, if they were Searchers, then they would “Accept me into their city”. Who knows what it would be like to be practically blocked off from the rest of the world? The conditions there are usually very poor. I would never be caught dead in one of their dreaded Cities.

So, I suppose I’m going to have to get moving… again. I’m going to have to move quickly, but quietly. Hopefully they don’t catch me in the process.
